Take additional safety precautions for your children, especially small children, when visiting amusement parks, carnivals or other events where rides and inflatable devices are set up.
- Parents should know their child's capabilities and limitations with regard to whether the ride is appropriate for them.
- Parents should watch the ride in operation before entering to make sure their child can ride it safely.
- Parents should remind their child of Ride Safety DOs and DON'Ts.
- Parents should remind their child to stay seated, hold on to safety bars and obey the ride operator's instructions.
- Parents should designate an easily recognizable place to meet their child after the ride is over.
- Parents should supervise their child at all times.
